The 6600GT is better. Get one from newegg.com. XFX, eVGA, Leadtek, and Gigabyte are all good brands.

Nvidia all the way with AGP, spend as much as you can.

The 7800GS is the best you can get but its pricey, however I recommend you dont get less than a 6800GS (Perhaps a gainward bliss or something).

Please do not start another one of threse threads. There are already too many of them on this site.

ATI and Nvidia both make various video cards of various qualities, and you should look at the cards performance not nesecarily its chipset company.

Some people just prefer one company over the other.

Think of ATI and Nvidia as you would with Intel and AMD... They are just different manufactures with their own models that have their own performance levels.
