The system I have is as follows:
Gateway
GX7022e
Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00Ghz
2GB RAM
Running XP Media Center with service pack 2

And it has recently started powering off sometime during the night and refusing to power back up fully. The first time it happened I thought maybe the power went out during the night, but the rest of my electronics were unnaffected. When it powers itself off (very randomly--didn't do it for about a week, then suddenly one night...) and you push the button to power it on all the lights except the power button light come on and the disks start kicking in, but it's like it's stuck in power on and never fully does. I can open the disk trays, but the monitor signal isn't going out, and it is somewhat noisier than normal (maybe the power supply fan?). If I power it on and off several times it will eventually kick back in, but that scares me into thinking one day it won't. Anyone know what might cause this? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
