Need help please

I have a new xp machine that won't boot up. It keeps on just beeping someone please help.

I start to boot up it show the XP symbol then just start to beep constantly....what else can I tell you?

I'm sorry it shows the intel p4 screen, start bios the get a few 95,BA, 94, E9. It sounds like the bios is meesed up. Do you know how to fix this?

I was updating something but I can't remember what. Do you think it is something in the bios. I up and running now but i know it will happen again. Can you think of what I need to do please?
