I have 3 laptops:
A Crappy 6-month old $600 Dell
a 9-month old $3000 Sager laptop and
a 2-week old $2500 MacBook Pro

I bought the Dell to take on trips/to work with me because if it get's stolen or lost, i only lose a $600 laptop.

I'm wondering: When i got it(My Dell), i had the option of getting either a Mobile Celeron 2.2GhZ(which i got) or a Celeron M 1.3-.1.4Ghz, my question is: Did i make the wrong decision in getting the 2.2Ghz Mobile Celeron?

Thanks

i just use it for basic stuff (no hardcore gaming or anything like that) and it was about a $50 price difference

he needed it for work, so it wasn't much of a choice in that domain.

since it was only 50 bucks, you're fine, but it tends to use battery up faster and runs hotter, which might decrease the lifespan of the components inside (not significantly). other than that, it was a good choice

Fscking moron...i have 2 laptops that are probably more powerful than your desktop and i have about 4 desktops that are 3Ghz or faster...i got a $600 laptop so that i i'm going somewhere and it gets lost or stolen, i lose a $600 laptop as opposed to a $3000 laptop.
