to the people who know about this please help me.

Im having issues setting up RPC over HTTP on my Exchnage server. I have installed it on the server and have followed MS install guide (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833401)

we have a ISA 2004 server in the middle of the Internet and the exchnage server and i have allowed passthrough for that.

The server is not an SBS server its Server 2003 Sp1. in the KB artical I have doubts on somethings.

Remove all the information from the Value data box, and then type the following information:
ServerNETBIOSName:6001-6002;ServerFQDN:6001-6002;ServerNetBIOSName:6004;ServerFQDN:6004
Notes• Replace ServerNetBIOSName with the NetBIOS name of your server. Replace ServerFQDN with the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of your server.
• If the FQDN that is used to access the server from the Internet differs from the internal FQDN, you must use the internal FQDN.
• To determine the NetBIOS name and the fully qualified domain name of your server, start a command prompt, type ipconfig /all, and then press ENTER.

Under Windows IP Configuration, information that is similar to the following appears:
Host Name .................: mycomputer
Primary DNS Suffix ........: contoso.com

We have OWA setup and working fine. Our DNS suffix is server.contoso.contoso.com. Our mail FQDN is mail.contoso. Where it has the serverFQDN i have edited so its server.contoso.com.

When I set up Outlook to use RPC over HTTP it keeps saying that the server cant be contacted. when I test by hitting https://mail.contoso.com/rpc it asks to accept the cert and then asks me for my credentials. This is my first time in doing this and Im confused.

If anyone has set this up and working, can you please help me.

Thanks
