How to removing the backplate?

Or look his motherboard up? I personaly would use a blow drier on low or medium heat and blow it onto the metal plates being very carefull not to damage the board or burn your hands on the metal plates... I don't know why they glue these damned things on...
 
... the metal thing could be a heat plate, and takeing it off would absolutly ruin him mobo.
 
the image shows the back of the MOB. This MOB support two cpu chips. The two rectanglar metal piece (about middle of the pic) are the backplates of the cpu heatsink retention unit. I've already unscrew the top part (plastic piece used for locking the heatsink onto MOB).
Problem is the backplates doesn't come off. It seems glue to the MOB. There is a thin black layer in between the backplate and the MOB.
I was wonder if there is a way to remove these backplates.
Or alternative solution to install two asetek cpu water blocks without removing the backplates. (Note: 940 socket - two screws to secure one water block)
Any suggestion is appreciated. thanks.
 
well, i bet you could crew on the water block into those wholes, that should work

what block did you get
