yea. I have the 9600 pro not XT. Its still a good card for the money. I think i got it for 130 dollars and thats a really good price for a such good card.
 
Id for with the better processor, but get rid of the nvidia card. I build a computer for under a grand from new egg componets..

AMD Athlon 64 3200 Retail
2X512 of DDR433 KingMax
MSI NEO FSR K8T mobo
80gb western digital SATA drive (quite as all hell)
ATI 9600XT (should've went with the 9800 pro for 4 bucks more)

I'm not into the fancy LEDS and stuff.. Hey it gets the job done.. FAST!
Raidmax case with an antec 350W supply..

Yes, that is VERY true.

I love my 9600 XT so much :)
