Hey all. The Windows firewall on my pc has been turning on and off all on it own. Sometimes it does it on restart and sometimes it does it when I'm just surffing the web. Could It be a virus? I have Norton AV running, I've run Spybot, Ad-aware, used online virus scanners and all of them turned up nothing. Any advice?

It's Norton. Norton will turn your windows firewall off because it wants you to use Norton buildin firwall. I recommend you use Norton firewall features. You can go into Norton Option/Internet Worm Protection (that is norton firewall). It is better then Windows POS firewall.

Oh, okay. I don't really care much for Windows firewall anyway, it's just annoyng knowing somethings going on that seems like a virus. Thanks for the help! :)

If it NIS then it can cause issues with networking if the IP subnet or Address range isnt allowed.
