According to Xpentor, NVIDIA G80 will make ATI stumble on April. Quad SLI itself can be implemented on a single card with two chips solution because it will carry the first dual core GPU ever with the support of DirectX10 and Shader Model 4.0.

So does that statement mean that if I have one g80, it will automatically be SLI? and if I have two (which would normally be SLI) it's gonna be quad-SLI? and what about someone who already had a quad sli set-up. Does that mean if they bought four of these then they'd have an octo-SLI? lol... octo-sli...

no i think that the newer cards coming out will have 2 chips instead of one, not positive tho

I think they're saying some of the cards will have 4 cores and therefore function as quad sli on one card

cant imagine benchmarks for these things.

i might pick one up in about july.

and ricochet why does your sig say vista next week. unless you have access to microsoft beta copies im pretty sure you aint gettin vista next week.
