The drive:

The card:

Connect the card to the board, drive to the card. Boot. Goes through BIOS, and then there's the problem. "PNP BIOS INSTALLED". Shows me a list of two channels representing each SATA port on the card. Detects the drive, all's well. But just below that, it says "PNP BIOS INSTALLED", and refuses to continue. The machine won't boot past that point. I have absolutely no idea why. >;/

Is there some BIOS setting I need to change? Some jumper settings I need the drive on? What's the secret?

A7N8X Deluxe ASUS motherboard. Will check for that setting when I get home.

I'm sorry for taking so long to respond.

But after contacting SIIG support, I was suggested the same thing. IRQ problems. Well, I've tried the card in every PCI slot, and I've set the PNP BIOS settings to manual, and played around with that for awhile to no avail. So now I'm sitting on a card and drive I can't use, and I still have absolutely no idea what to do.

Are there any other BIOS settings I should try?
