ABS computers

i checked out a place here in madison. their proces were pretty competitive, but they get their prebuilts from a place in minnesota called frontier computers. THe local place just services them. My family has bought computers from them before and it was a pretty good experience, but it would still be decently more expensive than having ABS build it for me ( about 150 bucks ).

Also, i havent checked yet, but ill be in college next year and they have tech people, i just dont know what exactly they will do for students and whether or not we have to pay them for service (i would hope that its covered in the 40g tuition) because in that case, there wouldnt be much of a point in paying for a lengthy service plan (more than the 1 year parts/service that ABS offers for no extra $) because, besides pcus and vid cards, most of the stuff that would break beyond that will probably be less expensive than any warranty. Plus, its a pretty big school in mathematics/computer science so there are a lot of techheads there to help me..... hopefully

idk, i like the idea of building a PC from scratch, but the thing is if it only costs a bit more you get a warranty if something goes, so idk, im going to buy from cyberpowerpc a basic system w/o a ton of RAM and a graphics card, and buy them separate.....

so its a personal prefferance....

oh, i'd buy from cyberpowerpc because they have a **** of a lot more options! Either that or ibuypower....
