Hello. I have been lurking here for a week or so.. reading all the great info you provide. This is my first time PC build as my dad useally gave me his old systems when he upgraded.

I plan to use this computer for daily use and to run obilvion/BF2/WoW/etc. I'd also like it to work for near future games too.

Here's what I'm looking at:

All thoughts/suggestions are appreciated. Let me know if something is completly wrong or if I should go bigger or smaller on each item.

Thanks again for all the great info!

looks good.... never heard of the PSU company though, i've been told to go with Antec PSUs. For the video card.. might i recommend a x1800GTO if your goin to be gamin, the 7600GT will play all the games you want it to but the GTO can be unlocked to the 1800XL pixelpiplines (16) and is 256-bit memory interface. The thing is its more expensive, but u get a good card (about $200-$250). but other than that looks great.

looks good...

but yea, i got some screwy links too... they all went to the same place as the one before... like the vid card went to the mobo link

That's certainly decent.

I'd reccomend the 7900GT for those games though, they're quite demanding. You could still play the games without lag, but not with all the graphical features up, when using the 7600GT.

The PSU should be an Antec, OCZ, PC P&C or FS Nortron.

Should I drop back on my cpu and go for a better video card?

I want dual core and I want good gaming. But my budget is only around 700 bucks.. my original links put me exactly at ~700 bucks.
