wtk pro l has a 7800 GTX for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. He's asking $270USD for it, which is $298.4445CAD at current exchange rates (http://finance.yahoo.com/currency/convert?amt=270&from=USD&to=CAD&submit=Convert).

He currently has it disassembled for an aftermarket cooler, but said he will reassamble it for the buyer. I'd get him to use some AS5 on it .

O in that case, i would definetly just wait it out. When G80 comes out ur gonna see a nice drop in prices because all of the other cards wont be able to run dx10, and that will be old technology resluting in much cheaper prices.

What's G80? Nvidia's DX10 card?

Oh also, when I put the new card in and plug my monitor into it, will it just work, or will I have to disable the onboard graphics?

x1600pro donÂ’t even come close to performing as good as a 7600GT.

If you want to look for an ATI alternative to the 7600GT then you should look at the x1800GTO which runs slightly more expensive.

I think I seen an x1800GTO as cheap as $180 while I seen 7600GT as low as $150.
