Hard Drive Problem

I'm having troubles with my hard drive. I only started to notice this playing higher end games such as Need For Speed Most Wanted. After an hour of playing straight, It starts to get very slow, I hear a clicking sound and I'm pretty sure it's comming from my HD. Does anybody know what I should do about this? It's a 200gb Maxtor.

if its coming from the hdd, its on its way out... when you go to buy a replacement, get a Western Digital or a Seagate

I just bought the **** thing. I have two hard drives actually. One is much older about 6 years. Could it be that one?

it could be either one.. just because its new doesnt mean it isnt defective.. i mean, it IS a maxtor...
