I have a ACER here that is running Win98. Nothing comes on the screen when you start the computer up. The monitor says no input. I put the HD in a Dell I have and it booted and started Win98 no problem. So, I'm guessing this means the Video part of the MB is dead or the entire MB itself. Can I throw a video card in it and get it going? I don't remember if Win98 is good with the PnP or not.

Thanks,
Andy

Well, I just tested the fan that's on the CPU and it's worn out. I can physically rock it around. I know that will keep it from POSTing on some systems, but wouldn't I get an on screen error? When the fan went bad on one of my servers I got an onscreen error message.
