I have a computer with a "somewhat decent" AGP video card (fx 5200 128 MB). I was intrested in the possibility of having a dual monitor system. I was given an old junk 2mb trident PCI card. (no I dont care to spend the money on a better PCI card at this time). I know that applications running over the older monitor will not work as well as it is a 2-d card, but it will only be used for word processing etc. I was just wondering if having such an old PCI video card will impact the performance of my computer and the better AGP card?

The Nvidia AGP 5200 has 1 port
The Trident PCI has 1 port
for a total of 2

(the Nvidia will be the primary video card)

I don't think you can make it work with 2 seperate video cards. especially considering they are made by 2 completely different brands

although I don't think it would hurt to try....
