same price but faster core and more memory.. but only has 16 pipes, yours has 24 so will i be alitttle lacking becasue of the 256 memory or is it fine? because it only takes one slot, will i be able to OC it without it overheating?

Green you have rekindled my faith in Nvidia

ok the reason i'm getting an expensive video card is that i've trashed the building idea and decided to mess around with my "dude i got ripped off" dell..

Now i'm getting a better ram and video card and psu..

this is the only BTX psu they sell
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817711002

EDIT: My current psu uses a full 24 pin connector to the mobo will the 20+4 pin connector with the psu i'm buying work with the motherboard?

Faster core and memory aren't the end-all anymore. They might have been up until the GeForce 6800s and the X800s, but not anymore. Now you've just gotta look at benchmarks and guess a lot.

Memory doesn't make a big different, 256MB is enough. That single-slot cooler is enough because the 7900GT doesn't put off that much heat anyways. You'll be able to overclock it to your heart's extent.

20+4-pins is the same as native 24pins PSUs, so you're fine. You'll just have to plug in an extra connector that comes with the PSU, so no need to worry about that.

ok thanks man.. now i am at peace lol

i also saw the reviews this thing can hit 250fps avg. if it is pure speed that is sick

Battlefield 2? Oh **** yea. You'll be able to max out the settings on 1280x1024 with max AA and stuff, and have the FPS at the 100FPS limit. You could unlock it ofcourse. Forgot how.

lol.... i had a dell.. and wow i got 5fps on Fear SERIOUSLY
It cost me $1000 dollars... and i thought i was getting TOP grade comp.
