New Windows Update Problem

The new update for windows i have just recieved about 15 minutes ago reminds me every time my computer boots up that my version of Windows XP Pro is not "Genuine." The little word bubble keeps coming up and telling me to get a genuine version, and i really dont want to pay for another one. Would somone like to tell me how to rid myself of this, preferably without reformating or buying a new copy?

if you paid for Windows XP Home Edition SP2, then it doesnt apply, right?

if you have ur cd key on more than 2 computers, then yeah i think it might still screw you up.
