I thought I had a virus on my computer so I downloaded Avast and AVG and scanned my computer twice and deleted whatever viruses came up. Afterwards, I deleted all these extra files that were in My Computer that weren't there before.
I must have accidentally deleted something important because now when I try to boot, I get "NTLDR is missing" Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot.
Now, if I try booting off of my Windows XP Home cd ... it will not let me install it and I can't repair it because it asks for my Administrator password which I forgot because I set it to something completely random a good while ago.
I'm not really sure what I should do. If I can't get it fixed soon, I guess I'll just go out and buy another hard drive, but any help would be much appreciated.
