Schedule tasks

I am one of those people that run their PC 24/7 and I need an applications to start and close programs automatically. So I can set a time when the application opens and set a time when it closes.

I want to schedule a task to open at 10am and close at 10pm. Then open another application at 10am and close at 10pm. Seeing to as I am not at my computer all the time I need these programs on open and close by themselves.

With most shedule tasks they only open a program and do not have a close feature to close the program it opened.

What program?
This sounds like you need a wrapper script that can monitor the task and perform operations against it. It's pretty easy to do.
Also, you can specify in the task schuduler that if it's still running after X minutes or hours, to stop it.
