CPU fan lie under PSU

Ok... I work on my friends comp, upgrading. so... He got all his part, and brought parts and PC to me.

Case is kind small. There no fans, and if I put every thing together the CPU fan will lie right under PSU...

PSU will lie above CPU fan and cover it almost completely.

So is it ok... or no (well its probably not so ok.. but)
Will thins work with build like
MSI K8NGM2-FID MOBO
AMD 3000+
2x512mb
and video 6600gt

It will probably be fine, alot of older computers were this way!! But really get a better case!

I think he mean's like a mini at case when the psu was infront of the cpu fan not an atx with the fan "Above" it!

You dont think it will over heat or some like that... (I mean overhear dangerous lvl?)
For build that I doing for him.

one thing to keep inmind the cpu fan pull's air in, it doesn't blow air out the top so it really shouldn't be an issue. What are the spec's of the system.

I say make him buy a new case, That's a socket 939, crap for $50 you can buy a pretty nice case. Can you take a picture so we can see exactly what you mean?

nvm... he is buying my old case.......

The other problem with his case was that there was to way to attach PSU.. it fitt but there no way to attach it to case.
Case maker was IBM, 6 years old.. And I guess that made it that way that ppl would use their ****..
