I'm by no means a hardware person, I'm software related. I wrote up a quick schematic in Microsoft Video trying to make a 32x8 Ram subsystem using 16x4 RAM chips, is this anywhere near remotely correct? If so, I need to ask a few questions about it. If it's wrong, can someone help me out?

Appreciate it all, thanks!

You're planning to build your own RAM chips? I wouldn't reccomend that. It will be cheaper, less frustrating and less dangerous than rolling your own. One cold solder joint and the thing is probably not going to work. Also if you hook up something incorrectly, you sould blow out some other part of your system.

Oh, by no means am I trying to make my own. :) This is all theoretical, mate.

I'm doing this for a class. I have a test tomorrow, and I'm just testing my knowledge [or lack thereof, heh]. I'm having a whale of a time trying to understand how combining RAM works properly. I'm just wondering if my diagram is correct.
