WOrd file locked??

hi,

when i half way writing my thesis report(using microsoft worid),suddently i cannot save the file.

I try to use another computer to work on it , and it said this document is locked by another user.

can anyone tell me what the **** is it ??
and how can i unlock this file..

now, i can't even delete this file ....

copy and paste the info in a text doc and then close word and try again

i try close, restart but word file stay the stay - is locked!!

yes, i did - but the problem remains

but is ok - i copy all to new doc

it could be that someone somewhere else accessed your comp and opened the file, this would prevent you from changing it. did you try restarting? also try turning off all of your network connections and try again
