I finnally decided to overclock my proc. its an amd 3500+ with the stock cooler on and some As5. i cant seem to get it higher than 2.3 ghz. i think that was 212 fsb and the v core was at 1.45
i sits there fine and ran cpumark and got 4491.6 but as soon as i start to play a game it shuts down.

so i cleared the cmos and went to 2.27 ghz and it runs fine. wat should i do

Hey
hi
Why dont you raise yuor VCORE
HEY THATS A GREAT IDEA
well im here to help
well thanks
pfff

also run a memory divider so we can eliminate the ram problem

I'll take the vcore up to 1.55 or 1.575 and let you know

I dont know how to run a mem. divider, so ill read up on it and let you know

Check every step you take, by running Prime95 for at least an hour. Don't just increase voltage blindly. A warning mate, do you really want to cook that nice CPU of yours?

Ok ok woa dude, your pushing the voltage there, it's not going to do anything. If I were you I'd raise the ram voltage or run it on a divider.
