Thermaltake 430w On 7900gt?

Planning on upgrading this summer, will this power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153023 run the 7900gt with a rating of 18A on 12V? Requirements say it needs 26amps

thermaltake is not known for its psu.........dun risk it. just get a good cooler master, or aspire, or OCZ, or antec.

Thermaltake makes very good PSUs now. You should never under power your computer though. Aspire is garbage.

I know someone or have used all the posted PSU's above. Aspire was the worst. Antec, Thermaltake, and OCZ are excellent.
OCZ is best out of them.

I currently have a thermaltake 420w and it runs @ 12.1V idle and 12.03 @ full load - so I'd say its pretty good and it only cost $30 w/ shipping.

It only needs 20 amps but they reccommend what you posted.
