Good setup?

I would get a different mobo without the igp and get a cheap video card to start. I'd look at the shuttle an35n - ultra mobo for around $65 and a geforce 4 ($40?). The shuttle has a better chipset, it also has holes for mounting big fans like the zalman flower.

i agree the codogens generally ship with lesser quality power supplies. if you can't pony up the coin for an antec, i would look at the aspire (turbocase) stuff. I've had good luck with their case/power for AMD builds.

Mobile procs only work on Laptops don't they?
and overclocking depends on your Mobo, my friend overclocked a 333MHZ 2500+ to 400MHZ 3200+
mobiles are more expensive for the most part too

also, what is the power supply you have in currently?
if you decide to get the Codegen case you might want to use your current PSU

I don't have a current psu. The mobile processors fit in the same sockets as the desktop ones do, so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues. Your friend probably got his processor before they started locking them, unless he unlocked it manually. My friend found a different mobo that's $40 cheaper, but still seems of about the same quality, here's the link:
