Any improvements that need to be done?

You really need to get 2gb for high end gaming rigs. BF2 and FEAR already use over 1gb and having 2x 1gb sticks will mean you can run the RAM in 1t. If you can't afford it, drop the CPU down to a 3800 X2 or a Opteron 165 and overclock the **** out of it.
