Network Adapter

I am going to be using my computer w/ a cable modem both at home and at school, should i install a network adapter now, or what?

Is this what im looking for? (just the thing that you plug the cable from the modem into... right)

you could probably use a USB connection on the modem but ethernet would be better. that card should do the job

You are going to be lugging your computer back and forth to school? But that card will do the job. Are you talking about the one you are building or the one you have now?

Most computers have that onboard so you may already have it.

But that card is what you need if you don't have the RJ-45 jack.
