Missing Files

Ok this is really stupid..., i hope someone can help me with this..

when setting up raid my dad removed a partition from a harddrive we wasnt setting up raid for accidently, it is not formatted and has not had any files copied too it, i put a partition back on it with partition magic but we cant see any files...


does anyone have any advice or any programs they recommend or know how too fix this..

the partition was and is a. NTFS Partition

ho did u "put" the partition back? did u choose "restore partition" in PQmagic or did u choose "create partition"
if u created a partition ur files are lost

In addition to Tm's question, did you assign the partition a drive letter? Is that letter conflicting with another established drive?...

Well...i've just suffered a similar fate lol. There are several progs out there with that you can recover your partition with. I managed to recover my partiition with Active@ Partition Recvoy If u want a copy of this software plz email me and ill give u a link. I cant put a link here or i will get banned lol
