Do PCI Diagnostic Cards really work?

Hey, I have a few dozen motherboards I need to test and when I was looking for an easy way to test them I found sites that were selling "PCI Analyzer Diagnostic PC Test Cards" that claimed they would test everything on your PC and display an error code if something didn't work.

So I was just wondering if anyone had bought one of these before? Do they test PCI, AGP etc. slots even if they don't have cards in them? Are they a complete waste of money? If you have bought one before what was good, bad about the card? Thanks.

in my experience yea they work, they should test everything up until the point of booting the OS. It's not going to give you diags of each and every card slot, just if there's in error in the card with one possibly, such as video, or if your IDE interfeace is dead(the problem with the one i used one for).
