they are images of a CD or DVD. it is possible to mount them with a image mounting program, like alcohol 52% or 120%, or daemon tools. you can also burn them with any burning software.

It only lets me mount to F? Then when I mount it to F another of the same alcholol windows opens.

I used daemon tools before can I just use that?

First you have to create the virtual drive to mount it to. Yes you can you daemon tools.

Ok i got daemon tools. Whats a virtual drive, how do i make it?

I tried to mount it with daemon tools and it whens to F drive again. I need it to go to D drive right because thats my cd drive? How do I do this with daemon

noo you mount it to f, and run it from there.

the drive f that alcohol and daemon are making is a virtual CD drive. the computer thinks it is a physical drive with a physical CD/DVD in it.

Ok when I mount to F and windows pops up giving me these options

Copy music from CD
Play audio cd
Import songs - Itunes
Play audio cd - Itunes
Show songs - Itunes
Open folder to view files
Take no action

??

I don't think that daemon tool use mds and mdf files. use alcohol to make the virtual drive
