Overclocking my amd 4000+...

Basically, I know how to overclock and all this stuff, and I know my cpu can do more than what it's doing.

Anyway, I had it (base = 2.4) around 2.49 GHz, and tried knocking it up to 2.52. That failed, so I knocked it back to 2.49, and for some reason, that failed again. I know it isn't the temperature, I checked that at various times and it was never going too high (stayed roughly >90ish F)

Suggestions?

Up the VCORE, run a memory divider so we dont have to worry about your ram...

What's your motherboard?

did u check stability propperly at 2.49?

look for the dram thing and make it below 150 mhz, thats what problem i had with my dual core
