Thanks a lot, but would you happen to have a link, and does it jepourdise (spelling!) any performance aspects!???

Thanks a lot for all the stuff guys, another problem solved, and I know where to go if I have another!

Also, how can I tell if I have 'cool and quiet' on and running?!

Thanks a lot

In your bios I beleive, easy enough to spot "cool and quiet" enabled/ disabled.

Glad you got it sorted

Hi guys, just enabled Cool 'n Quiet, will this make much difference to temps and noise realistically?!

I definetly do not recommend turning it on unless you just browse the internet and it idles often. From what I understand it lowers your CPU speed and fan and such to keep the temp and sound down.

Okay, thanks a lot for all the help guys, I have worked out the problem, and it is just games not understanding my X2. (which was mentioned earlier).

I just have to manually set the affinity every time I use a game, (afaik), although I'm still reading into it, it shouldn't be too hard or awkward.

Thank god it wasn't my graphics card, and thank you guys for helping me,

Charlie -
