i'm trying to install all my old games on my new comp, whenever i put half life in and choose "install", it gives me this message: Can't run 16-bit Windows programs

Insufficient memory to run this application. Quit one or more Windows applications and then try again.

i have 512 mgb of RAM, i don't get it. even after i exit like 6 apps, it won't do it.....HELP, I NEED MY COUNTER-STRIKE.

and for some reason, it seems to only be Half-Life that does it. i installed both rise of nations and battlefield: vietnam without any problems at all.....WTF

Hi, TeLeMuNdO!. Are you running Windows XP on your new PC? If so, then that might be the problem itself. If you installed a dual-boot system, try installing it from Win98 or whatever you installed XP over.

its okay now, i tried the next day and it worked fine, go figure. half-life has always been a pretty glitchy game though.
