MP3 Editor

I need one free or cheap. I need it too allow me to trim any part of an mp3(such as a radio advertisment at the begining of a song) file off and lower bitrates.

I suggest a program called Audacity...It's open-source and for Windows, Mac (i think) and Linux

Some pretty good software is Adobe Audigy......even supports MP3pro....
But its not free...
