Buy a Zalman CF-700 and if you have an R360 core you can flash it to an XT.

just wondering but what are the specs of the 9800? Cause I go to a LA N house once in awhile and their machines are running 9800's. (in brazil a 9800 costs about the equilivent of $700, so...)

Hmm about the equivalent of a 6600GT cept w/ out the SM3.0. Just ballpark though.

Yea but the 7600GT will kick the dog snot outa the 9800pro and XT by a long shot. I know cause at the LAN we did a comparison and bam, i lost w/ my measly 9800XT.

so you think that the 7600 GT'd be sufficient for moderate gaming? or is it worth it to upgrade to the 7900 GT?

If you can afford it, go with the 7900GT. Much better performance. Or if you have some time, wait until the next gen cards come out.
