OK, maybe I was a little harsh but....

This is an old a55 comparison. 8xx series?

First there are the 9xx Pressler series which do a lot better even stock. Then, take into consideration their OC'ing ability, and now the recent price cuts, they have become very attractive.

Second, you now have the Core Duo's that are out and kicking X2's a55 when taking into considerating overclocking.

Third, you have Conroe's which will be here in July that are going to be out of control based on the new bench's we have over at XS.

Point being, the X2's are in no way, shape or form, dominating Intel on the dual core front like they were when this article was written.
