Need some advice please

I have the audigy 2 ZS sound card. I have the logitech Z5500 speakers. I want to know when I am trying to listen to a dvd with Dolby Digital I don't get the sound out of the middle speaker. What am I going to need to complete my sound to make it true 5.1? I am feeling kind of stupid right now because I can't figure it out.

is the middle speaker a satellite speaker or subwoofer ? are you drivers up to date ?

I have the logitech z 5500 5.1 speaker system. The audigy drivers are the most recent that they have.

Make sure you have the card plugged in correctly and configured for a 5.1 system. It may be running 4.1

I have triple checked connections and they are correct. It is set at 5.1. I have triple checked that also.
