Advice needed for PC spec.

Hi, I'm looking to build a PC for general use (playing DVD's, divx, music / using 3D rendering and CAD packages). I have decided on the following spec. but would like input, is there a better graphics card, etc? (for similar money!)

Case: Thermaltake Tsunami Silver - £70 ($126)
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 3800+ Skt 939 - £202 ($364)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GAK8NMF-9 (I need firewire) - £47 ($85)
Memory: Corsair DDR400 / PC3200 - 2 x 1024Mb - £112 ($200)
Graphics: XFX 6600 512MB DDR2 DUAL DVI TV Out PCI-E XT Edition - £92 ($165)
PSU: Antec TruePower II 480W - £59 ($100)
CPU Fan - Zalman (CNPS7000B-CU) Super Flower Cooler - £19 ($34)

I have hard-drives and optical drives and I want the computer to be quiet obviously!

that all looks pretty spot on for the prices, the only thing I dont like is the mobo.
I'm running a gigabyte at the moment and its OK but Asus/DFI would be better, you can get a cheap firewire card if need be.
