I think theres a question bout the cache on the dvd burners, also is it possible to install more then 2, so I can burn 2-3 dvds/cds at a time?EditEdit:

All seems good to me... pretty top notch pc your getting.. are you actually gonna buy it or posted that here for attention like everything else you have posted?

sorry buit whats the point of that?

thanks for your first sentence, f u for the second ;)

lol, too address what you said, i have been lookin to get a new computer for a while, just a few days ago i didnt know how to approach it as to if i should just go to Circuit City and buy one or too build it (but the favor was towards building one so I know what i was getting) the only reason for lots of posts are to get a feel of what i wanted to get alot of opinions from different people, not for attention. trust me if i wanted attention, this would be the last place i would try to get it from.

Im actually going to go through with it, I just wanted opinions from the pro's because once I get it I will be back posting threads because I know I will have lots of questions on how to do things (this is my first build ever). so i dont know if you found my previous posts offensive, but i was simply trying to gain some experience and I believe I have learned alot in just a few days from reading all the posts and the helpful links provided by some of this forums kind people.

so I can burn more then one cd at a time, my brother is a DJ so I can help by burning cds for him to distrubute & create them quicker rather then 1 by 1. thats why I wanted to know if it was possible.

ps. whats up with bustin my balls, lol, so many sarcastic questions coming from you.

also it took me some days to orginize this build, i didnt just copy it from some1, i selected everything one by one and alot of posts and questions.

so respect it, please.

it would be inefficient to burn more than 2 dvd's at a time due to the fact you can only really use one optical drive effectively per channel. so you would have to put one dvd burner on each ide channel and there are only 2. i think with the rest of your system being top notch and the fact i thought you wanted to overclock you would be making a mistake buying a thermaltake blue-orb. it is a decent cooler but not brilliant for overclocking when compared to the likes of the zalman 7700, cnps 9500 or thermaltake big typhoon

thanks for the advice, i didnt know what fan to go with, so i just choose that. yes you are right I do want to overclock,

ZALMAN CNPS7000B-ALCU 92mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118112

or

Thermaltake Big Typhoon CL-P0114 120mm Cooling Fan with Heatsink
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835106061

which one would you recommend nite? and I will go with that one.

also thanks for letting me know about the dvd burner, its no big deal, i was just wondering thats all.

do you think i should go with the one with the 16x 8mb cache or the 18x 2 mb cache?

the cnps7000 isn't even in the same ballpark as the typhoon.

in my opinion the best 2 coolers out of what i posted are the cnps9500 and the big typhoon. the big typhoon is significantly larger and heavier though it is a degree or two cooler than the 9500. the 7700 is the next best but is nowhere near as good as these 2 and the 7000 comes in last. i hear good things about the thermalright xp-120 though. it is a passive heatsink, but once you put a decent fan on it it is supposedly about as good as a big typhoon
