Why am i getting pop-ups?

I havent seen these in 3 years...!

I have Internet Explorer 6, with Pop-up Blocker on High setting..

Which is the best pop-up blocker, i will pay for it if there is no free ones.

A bit off topic but yes I had popups too three years ago but they just dis apeared what on earth happened to pop ups these past years?

well i was surfing "bad" stuff, and got a few.

I installed Google Toolbar, is that okay for blocking pop-ups?

o "those pop ups". It's most likely spyware. Considering you use IE see Explorer Destroyer.

You don't have messenger service enable do you? Alot of advertisement was done exploiting this service, that's why in XP it was disable by default, however older OS had it enable.

no, i removed Windows Messenger.

I dont get pop-ups anymore, i installed Google Toolbar.

I like google toolbar if I am using IE6, but I usually just install Firefox for my main browsing.

for some reason, i cant surf the net with firefox...to hard to use.

Explorer Destroyer will change that hopefully. Not sure if end users will like it but it's for the best.
