Motherboard Power Pin

That fan is for an Intel Socket 775 board, it won't work with AMD.

The heatsinc goes down ontop of the CPU and then a metal piece goes inside and pops into a tab on either side of the socket, and then you push down on a retainer to hold it inplace.

On Intel's Socket 775, there is 4 holes in the motherboard inwhich the heatsinc has plastic pins that secure it, that's how that one works.

is watercooling and a fan the only choice for temp control ? do they have the same technology like a air conditioner inside the computer? do you think that would work if they have one or if they had one?

there have been many posts about this in the ocing and modding forum, you should check it out there, and post aftermarket cooling stuff there...you'll get better help.

watercooling and fans are the most common ways, but there is also silent cooling, well mainly for the cpu. and it's not worth the trouble to put a/c through your computer.
