Okay so I learned the hard way, that ATI is crap. What is an NVIDIA card that is equal to the ATI 9800?

For gaming yes, I have a P4 2.0 ghz with 1gb ram so what is the best card I can get for my system?

6800GS AGP version - Much faster

I don't have an PCI express slot, just AGP.

6600GT or 6800 this is greater then a 9800

no one said anything about pci-express, the cards turtile recommended are for AGP... and he's on the ball with his recomendations...

the 6600gt is a bit faster than the 9800 pro.

generalizing and saying ATI is crap is not fair.

i agree with Alias about ATI and i'd recommend the 6600GT as well

EDIT: I'd actually say go 9800 because i'm a BIG fan of ATI...
