hey guys. you tryin to really push that 7800gtx? hehehe i got my x1800xl to 686mhz/ 686mhz... ran 3dmark05 and scored 8750. you can say this score is low.. although my cpu is default.. if i was running on a 3000@ 2.6 or an fx57.. i would be proubly 9200+ which IMO is pretty good for a 250$ video card.. but goodl uck hitting 9500

yea i just picked up some old socket a and socket 7 mobos with an ati rage 128? and some nvidia card. both agp. and then some socket a and one socket 7 cpu, im gonna run 3dmark on em and see waht they can do. probably wont even hit 2000. lol.

ummm....no maybe like 300.

Like we said, your not goign to get 300 for that GTX it already goes for 250. So yeah 7900GT > 7800GTX and its the same price

doesnt matter. im not selling it for "like 100".

yea if i had an fx-57 i would get higher scores too.

btw 7900gtx comes in tommorow, i love newegg and their 24 hour shipping.

honestly, why are you so obsessed with 3dmark scores? it's a benchmark - it doesn't tell how a computer will act in real life situations. if it runs a game fine then that's all you need.

im just saying thats the results. and im judging it by 3dmark because thats the only benchmark that really stresses and gives you results of a videocard. u cant take prime95 and run it and say your video card is stable.
