And as for another PSU I've got that works fine;

It has one 80mm fan in it. Can I remove that fan, drill a hole and mount a 92mm fan in the bottom of it instead so it would be quieter? Woult that be adequate enough? It's only a small 250 watt PSU used on a Pentium II that I have.

What are the components of this PC, I really doubt 250 Watts will be enough, as for the fan mod, You could do it, but be very carefull when playing around inside of that PSU.

I don't know if it will be quitier, you would have to check the Db ratting for both fans.

and +12 and -12 do not mean dual rails, if you see two +12 entrys, then that is dual rails.
