BUT...what do u think hercules...is it worth like 100 dollarz (canadian in my case) more to get 2.8ghz with ht tech or an amd athlon xp 2800+...u be the judge

Well, if you ask me, your probably fine going with the 2800+ because 2.8 P4's aren't that super, so for a budget the Athlon XP's are good solid all around CPU's I had a 2700+ before my P4 and it ran pretty darn good.
