finally oc'd my cpu today.... i need help with somethin quick.

well it hasnt froze, blue screens, or done anything wrong in superpi.. ill let superpi run tonigth when i sleep... im off to play baldurs gate 2
 
dude it isnt stable unless you can run prime95 for 12+ hours. dont shortcut stability, not a good idea.

VCORE is the voltage supplised to the cpu :)

STOP ASKING HIM TO RUN A MEMORY DIVIDER HE ALREADY IS!!

He's safe until 270 which his ram would be running at 198mhz. Which this ram is probably PC3200 ram so 200mhz is stock if you didnt know :p

Anyways 270*11 VCORE 1.500 with 104% and this is the exact same settings i am running and its only 1.5V in windows for some odd reason :D
 
cpu voltage: a.k.a; CPU VID, VCORE, CORE VOLTAGE, PROCESSOR VOLTAGE, PROCESSOR VID. vcore is kind of like a variable in algebra or physics. i assume vcore has been adopted from originally being an engineering term which would have been written Vcore (core as a subscript) to denote the voltage of processor core in calculations
