Hi,

Topic title shows the name of file damaged/corrupted. I have run Recovery Console(RC), and the set command, which i need to enable the "allowallpaths = true" command, is disabled.

I've read that the only way to enable the set command is to do some configurations in my Group policy RC section. However, I cannot enter windows now.

Does that mean i have to reformat my computer? Just because I have to enter Windows to enable the set command?

Also, what could have caused the corruption of the vgaoem.fon file? Virus?

Eagerly waiting for a response and help,
Thank you.

Have you looked at this to see if it was of any help?

Hello, yes I've done that up to Step 8, where it say,

"Type the following line, and then press ENTER (where CD-ROM drive is the letter of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive that contains the Windows XP compact disc, and drive is the letter of the drive on which Windows is installed):
expand CD-ROM drive:\i386\vgaoem.fo_ drive:\windows\system"

The thing is, to enable the mentioned command, I must set the allowallpaths = TRUE command first. However the set command to actually enable it is disabled, and can only be accessed in Group Policy in Windows, which I can't go in now!

Any solutions?

Thank you.
