Limewire = BSoD!

Limeiwre gives me blue screen of death, any suggestions why it would do this? it also makes my freinds computer freeze up and restart!

ideas?

tell us exactly what happened, when it happened, what is find before you installed limewire, did java install correctly, did yo reinstal java since its java based did you try to uninstall limewire?

lol 3 posts in about a minuit, yeah my java has been updated. the limeiwre lasts a few minuits before it gives me BSoD. if i dont run limeiwre my PC's fine, so its this program. i have about 3 spyware programs on my pc, scannes done daily = no spywae on my pc

Try running it in safe mode with networking.

LimeWire is spyware free, because its based on Java.

Make sure Java is updated, and give your system specs. Limewire takes about 80MB of RAM alone.

the download and install itself of limewireis spyware free but not all the downloads....

did you uninstall it yet? can you run it on a different profile? does it tax your cpu causing it to bsod?

2gb crusial ddr400 ram
250gb western sata 2 hdd
580wat hiper blue
geforce 7800gtz
asus sli se mobo

ill update java now if there a new version, ill search now
