Great settup. Keep your choosen video card it's cheap and will hold you over till the new DX10 arrives but you may want to consider 2GBs of ram.

Just make sure you buy a Motherboard which will support everything you want to buy. I mean, don't buy a 939 Mobo, with PCI-e slot, and a AGP graphics card.

wait wait.. he didn't say this rig is for gaming. if this was purely for gaming then yes, maybe he should downgrade the cpu and get a better vid card.

thanks for pointing that out as everyone round here is so gung-ho about video cards. 6600gt and the 4400+ X2 sounds good to me.
